Who We Are
Tistel was created from the environment of the emergency response organization CADUS e.V. and aims to make the extensive experiences from numerous missions in war and crisis zones usable for both professional deployment and everyday life through innovative training concepts and personalized consulting services.
Since the beginning of 2024, we have been training alongside Cadus e.V. deployment teams for their missions in Gaza and other regions. Additionally, we support organizations and companies that are active in areas like Ukraine or wish to improve their crisis management.
The Tistel team consists of trainers with interdisciplinary backgrounds and extensive experience, including in areas like search and rescue at sea, humanitarian aid missions, investigative journalism, crisis management, and IT security. We have operated in various war and crisis zones such as Ukraine, Gaza, Afghanistan, and Syria.
Based on our field experience and training background, we prepare our participants as thoroughly as possible for their missions. We place great emphasis on realistic scenarios, which are continuously refined through close contacts with our partners on the ground. This allows us to incorporate current field conditions and continuously adjust our exercises.
Additionally, we use methods from Live Action Role Play (LARP) to minimize training artificiality and create a strong practical focus.
Furthermore, we bring our expertise from psychosocial and systemic counseling to develop holistic approaches that provide sustainable support to individuals in challenging situations.
