5 Days of Realistic Deployment Simulation: Our Hostile Environment Awareness Training
It has never been easier to travel to war and crisis zones, but the risks and dangers remain significant. Yet, we often see that many doctors, technicians, and journalists set off for such areas unprepared.
Based on our missions and training experiences, we have developed this HEAT training, which offers a comprehensive deployment simulation: from preparation and convoy travel to checkpoints, setting up accommodations, self-sufficiency, patient care, and developing and practicing an evacuation plan. This is complemented by simulated incidents that could occur at any time in a real deployment.
Using elements from Live Action Role Play (LARP), we create a protected environment where you can train practically. Between simulation sessions, we integrate targeted theory and practical training and provide space for debriefings and reflection. This way, you can engage intensively with the challenges of war and crisis zones and gain valuable experience in a safe environment.

Process
The training lasts 5 days and consists of:
- Theory (online, 1 day)
- Deployment preparation (0.5 day)
- Deployment simulation (3 days)
- Post-deployment debriefing (0.5 day)
Individual First Aid Kits
The IFAK, or “Individual First Aid Kit,” can save your life in an emergency. No one should travel to a war or crisis zone without an IFAK.
In the in-person training, we work intensively with training IFAKs, which we provide.
Additionally, you have the opportunity to purchase deployment IFAKs. The contents are the same as those of the training IFAKs, ensuring you’re optimally prepared for your mission. The price is 100€ per deployment IFAK plus VAT.

Costs
The cost of the training is 3500€ per person plus VAT.
